Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) Make Mine Laughs, the 1949 Richard Fleischer & Hal Yates musical comedy compilation ("A NEW MUSICAL REVUE Including Highlights from RKO Film Hits!"; "That 'Something New' revue... -with all these big-time stars!"; "A score of headliners at their peak-performance best... in the show that shines with rhythm, song and thrills!"; this was advertised as "A New Musical Revue", but it was largely recycled clips of vaudeville-like performances from earlier RKO movies, but with a few newly filmed clips added) including clips starring Ray Bolger, Anne Shirley, Dennis Day, Joan Davis, Jack Haley, Leon Errol, Francis Langford, Frankie Carle and his orchestra, Robert Lamouret, Manuel and Marita Viera, Rosario and Antonio, Freddie Fisher and his Schnickelfritz Band, The Titans, Myrana Dell, Dorothy Granger, and Gil Lamb NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that very few 30x40s survive from before 1960. This is because at that time they cost the theater many times the price of a one-sheet, so very few theaters used them. They are far more rare than the corresponding one-sheets! Condition: very good. There are minor creases throughout the poster as is common with rolled posters. There is a pinhole in each corner. There are a few 1/2" or smaller tears in the borders.
