An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Conquest of Space, the 1955 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) outer space astronaut thriller ("See how it will happen ...in your lifetime!"; produced by George Pal; "Based on the book by Chesley Bonestell and Willy Ley", who were both highly acclaimed science fiction/science fact writers; the writers were very correct that it would happen in "your" lifetime; they correctly predicted a space station, and they were off on the timing of a manned Mars expedition, but that is likely coming soon, and there was a movie recently made about that, called "The Martian"!) starring Walter Brooke, Eric Fleming, Mickey Shaughnessy, Phil Foster, William Redfield, William Hopper, Benson Fong, Ross Martin, and Joan Shawlee

Condition: good to very good. The bottom 6" of the poster has darkened somewhat. There is some rippling and creasing scattered throughout the poster and some extra folds to the left and right of parts of the vertical foldline. There are some tiny tears in parts of some foldlines. Someone put conservation tape on the back of each crossfold. There is a slightly diagonal crease just above the left half of the middle foldline. The poster's defects are somewhat minor, and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, or many collectors would likely be happy to display this poster just as it is!
