An Original Vintage Unfolded Dutch World War II Poster (measures 20" x 29 3/4" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) MG Overgangsgezag (literally translates to "MG Transitional Authority"), the 1945 Dutch World War II (WWII) Home Front poster (with a tagline that translates to "The Netherlands will rise") informing people of the temporary Netherlands military administrative body that took over after the Nazi Germany occupation ended. The goal was to transition back to civil authority once order and security had been restored (and Nazi cooperators were removed from office). Note that this poster features Lewitt-Him artwork of the letters MG transitioning from a war-torn landscape to an idyllic view of fields and windmills. Artist: Lewitt-Him Condition: very good.
