Note that this popular novel had been previously made in 1919 with William Farnum. It was remade and as a sound movie in 1930 with George O'Brien, and in 1941 with George Montgomery! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these cards were made at a time when many cards were being hand colored. In the days immediately following World War I, there were a huge amount of returning veterans who could not find jobs, and labor was cheap and plentiful. This likely explains why the studios began hand-coloring lobby cards. This was incredibly time consuming, because it was done to every single card one by one. As economic conditions improved in the country, and as printing technology also improved, these methods of decorating cards vanished! But on this title, we have seen both hand colored cards, and cards that were not hand colored. This simply means that some theaters did not spend the money to have the cards hand colored. These ARE first release 1924 lobby cards! Condition: very good. There are pinholes and a few faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the cards are in nice condition.
