An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Astounding She Monster (released outside the U.S. as "The Mysterious Invader"), the 1958 Ronnie Ashcroft AIP science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("A creature from beyond the stars Evil... Beautiful... Deadly...!"; "Story and Screenplay by Frank Hall"; about a gang of crooks who kidnap a beautiful heiress, but then they come in contact with an equally beautiful female alien who has crash landed, but she is constantly giving off radium, killing many who come in contact with her) starring Robert Clarke, Kenne Duncan, Marilyn Harvey, Jeanne Tatum, Shirley Kilpatrick (in the title role as the "She-Monster"), and Ewing Brown NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with a 1/4" x 1" area of paper loss to the left of that in the bottom horizontal fold. It had an extra horizontal fold 1/4" below the regular bottom horizontal fold, with some small tears and creases between them. It had a much lesser amount of wear on the other two horizontal folds. It had a partial second vertical fold next to the regular one, with some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered in the vertical fold. It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
