An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) Blade Runner, the classic 1982 Ridley Scott science fiction (sci-fi) crime detective mystery dystopian future thriller ("Man has made his match ...now it's his problem"; "The star of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and the director of 'Alien' take you on a spectacular journey to the savage world of the year 2019!!"; "Screenplay by Hampton Fancher and David People"; sort of a science fiction film noir; about a futuristic world where replicants work off-planet as slaves for humans, but some of them want to live among the general population; based on the novel 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' by Phillip K. Dick) starring Harrison Ford (in the title role as Rick Deckard, the Blade Runner), Rutger Hauer (as Roy Batty), Sean Young (as Rachael), Edward James Olmos (as Gaff), Daryl Hannah (as Pris), M. Emmet Walsh, Joanna Cassidy (as Zhora), William Sanderson (as J.F. Sebastian), and Brion James (as Leon Kowalski) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: John Alvin Important Added Info: Note that the poster has no top and bottom blank border, but it has NOT been trimmed. At this time, the studios experimented with printing 30x40s with a "full bleed" (meaning no blank border on the top and bottom), but they soon abandoned the approach (likely because some theater owners wondered if the poster had been trimmed!). The poster does measure 30" x 40", and it WAS printed this way, as was every other 30x40 for this title! Condition: good to very good. There is a long faint slightly diagonal vertical fine scuff line running down from the top of Ford's head down through the center of his face and ending in the middle of the poster. There are a few other faint scuffs and creases in the image. None of the above are very distracting, and are mostly only noticeable from close up. This poster was never folded (it was sent rolled in a tube to the poster exchange, and then to the theater, if it was used in a theater). The poster has some clear imperfections. We likely have written a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they likely can be seen by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster. Note that, if the poster has "crinkle marks" which are difficult to see in our image, we ALWAYS mention that in words! Learn More about condition grades
