Stemmle"; about a beautiful jewel thief in Paris who steals a pearl necklace, and who hides them in the luggage of an American engineer going to Spain, and then she must retrieve them from him, and in doing so, she falls in love with him) starring Marlene Dietrich, Gary Cooper, John Halliday, William Frawley, Ernest Cossart, Akim Tamiroff, Alan Mowbray, and Zeffie Tilbury (who had the part of her life at the end of her career, as Grandma in "The Grapes of Wrath") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has light staining and a few pinholes around the edges, but fortunately very little within the image or border art. There is a pair of staple holes in the lower left and lower right, one near the bottom of the border art and one in Halliday's pants. There is light staining over the entire back of the card, where it was likely attached to a mat. There is a small British censor stamp in the bottom left white background area. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back. In spite of the many defects, this rare and wonderful card would still display fairly well, and of course, it could have professional restoration, but bear the defects in mind (and look at our super-sized images) before placing a bid.
