Kenton Universal genetic experimentation fantasy horror thriller ("The Panther Woman lured men on - only to destroy them - body and soul!"; "The Panther Woman -the body of a siren - the heart of a child - the soul of a cruel Jungle Killer"; loosely based on the novel 'The Island of Dr. Moreau' by H.G. Wells) starring Charles Laughton (as Dr. Moreau), Bela Lugosi, Richard Arlen, Leila Hyams (as "Ruth Thomas"), Kathleen Burke (billed as "The Panther Woman"; in her first movie role!), Arthur Hohl, Stanley Fields, Paul Hurst, and a bunch of "manimals" (half man, half animal!)
