Ackerman and Trina Robbins in 1969 for Warren Publishing. She first appeared in Warren Publishing's black-and-white horror-comics magazine Vampirella (which she "hosted"). The character's first story artist was Tom Sutton, and Frank Frazetta's first-issue cover "was a substitute for the original cover by European artist Aslan." She was ranked 35th in Comics Buyer's Guide's "100 Sexiest Women in Comics" list Artist: Tracy Kahn Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Cathy Christian (she signed it "Vamp")! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). Condition: very good to fine.
