An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 13 1/2" x 21" [34 x 53 cm]) (Learn More) We're Giving 'Em the Old One-Two!, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front war poster ("Teamwork"; "Days off cost lives") encouraging citizens to have a good work ethic, and featuring art of a man representing management and labor punching a bee representing absenteeism, and implying that only when labor and management join together would the U.S. win the war. Note that considering the common phrase "busy as a bee" (which goes back to the 14th century), it seems odd that a bee was chosen as the symbol for absenteeism. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that because this poster has a lot of paper tape on the back, we will send it in a large flat package and not send it rolled in a tube. Condition: good.
