An Original Vintage Czech Campaign Book (measures 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) Monopolfilm 1924-25, the 1925 Czechoslovakian campaign book (with a tagline that translates to "Gives you thrilling box office films") featuring images and information about upcoming movies distributed in Czechoslovakia by Monopolfilm. Some of the films include: Ashes of Vengeance, Husbands or Lovers, and Za-La-Mort, and a German movie titled "NJU", which starred Emil Jannings and Conrad Veidt! Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Czechoslovakian campaign book! We are currently auctioning another Czech campaign book (from Emco Film 1930-31) in a separate auction. Czech campaign books are surely far more rare than ones from other countries (the only other one we have previously auctioned was from Paramount 1929-1930, and until we were consigned that, we did not even know that Czechoslovakia had enough of a film industry in the 1920s to justify getting their own campaign book, but apparently they did, at least between 1924 and 1931)! Condition: good to very good. This campaign book was folded across the middle. It has dot stains and smudges in parts of the covers and a little bit on the interior pages (see our images).
