A 1970 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 24" x 33") (Learn More) Duck Soup, the classic 1933 Leo McCarey musical political satire screwball comedy (Groucho is named the new ruler of a bankrupt country, Freedonia, and he declares war on a neighboring country, and his brothers Chico and Harpo are incredibly inept spies!) starring the Four Marx Brothers: Groucho Marx (as Rufus T. Firefly), Harpo Marx (as Pinky), Chico Marx (as Chicolini), and Zeppo Marx (as Lt. Bob Roland), and also starring Margaret Dumont, Raquel Torres, and Louis Calhern NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine or better") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, AND which were linenbacked by a top professional! The poster was tri-folded in each direction. There was the most minor wear along the foldlines and extremely minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in fine condition prior to linenbacking.
