An Undated (probably 1966 and re-titled "Batman and Robin" for this re-release) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Poster (1sh; measures 25" x 38") (Learn More) The Batman, the 1943 Lamber Hillyer classic DC Comics comic book superhero action adventure crime fighting serial ("A hundred times more thrilling on the screen!"; "A Columbia Chapter Play"; "the great action serial thriller!"; "All the action and thrills of the comic strip multiplied a hundred-fold!"; "In the hands of his enemies! Can Batman escape?"; "Daring in action! Superhuman against odds!"; "The all-American hero in super-human thrills!"; "Red-Blooded Americans Versus the Wily Nipponese!"; "Watch Batman deal death and defiance to his enemies!"; "See Batman turn the tables on the wily Jap!"; "Based on the Batman Comic Magazine Feature appearing in Detective Comics and Batman Magazines"; note that because this serial was made during the middle of World War II, the villains in the movie are Japanese, and they are the stereotyped Japanese villains of that time) starring Lewis Wilson (in the title role as Batman), Douglas Croft (as Robin), J.
