An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Show Girl in Hollywood, the 1930 Mervyn LeRoy musical comedy ("Based on a story by J.P. McEvoy"; about a Broadway showgirl who meets a Hollywood director who convinces her to go to Hollywood with him, where he'll make her a star, but everything goes wrong, and after many complications, everything works out in the end) starring Alice White (billed as "America's girlfriend"), Jack Mulhall, Blanche Sweet, Ford Sterling, and Lee Shumway. Note that this movie is especially interesting because it gives an "inside" look at how movies were made in 1930, and it even has cameos by many real Hollywood actors, playing themselves, including Loretta Young, Walter Pidgeon, Noah Beery Sr., and Noah Beery, Jr.

Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: good. The still must have been used in a newspaper, because there are some tiny touch up marks on the eyes of the two ladies, enhancing their eyelashes. It is not very noticeable or distracting, and we only saw it when we tilted the still to the light.
