Lloyd Sheldon"; about thirteen different brides being kidnapped at the altar by submarine pirates and are held for ransom for millions of dollars, requiring the assistance of the Department of Justice and the U.S. Navy!) starring Mary Christensen, Marguerite Clayton, Arthur Earle, Gretchen Hartman, W.E. Lawrence and John B. O'Brien. Note that the U.S. Navy assisted in the production of the film by making its ships and crews available. Also, this serial is considered "lost", as there are likely no surviving prints of it. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had extra horizontal folds unevenly above and below the regular bottom one. It had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold and in the bottom left of the "D". It had three vertical creases in the bottom center of the image that look like a minor printing defect. It had some tears and paper loss around the edges, slightly extending into the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Also, the poster was not glued enough in the bottom border, and it is now slightly "lifting" from the linen in several places. While the poster could be displayed as it is, I would say it is an excellent candidate to be re-backed. Learn More about condition grades
