Important Added Info: Note that original 1938 U.S. posters on this movie are extremely rare. We have never had a one-sheet from this movie before, and we have only auctioned a single half-sheet and window card! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the middle crossfold and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline, with separation on the horizontal folds. There were many small creases scattered in the middle of the poster, including in the faces of both women (see our image). There were similar creases scattered in the top of the left of the title and in the right of Hepburn's credit. There were some pinholes and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
