Artist: Noriyoshi Ohrai Important Added Info: Note that while this poster was sold to the public, it was sold only at theaters during the first release of the film and NOT outside of the theaters or after the end of the first release! It is considered to be far more rare than the Japanese theatrical posters from the same movie! We have auctioned it five times before. The first time was in 2012, and that example auctioned for $2,000, and we auctioned a different example in December 2015, and that example auctioned for $2,001. On April 3, 2016, we auctioned a third example, and it sold for $2,100. On November 7, 2017, we auctioned a fourth example, and it sold for $2,201. On 12/17/17 we auctioned a fifth example and it sold for $1,769. Now we are auctioning a sixth example of this wonderful poster! Condition: fair to good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in various areas due to exposure to moisture. It is slightly more noticeable across the back, but is somewhat visible from the front in lighter-colored areas. There are several creases scattered in various areas throughout the poster, especially at left where there are two approximately 5-6" long partial horizontal creases with some surface paper loss (see our image). There is a torn or enlarged pinhole in each corner. Certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above and improve this rare Yamakatsu commercial poster's condition, but please bear in mind its significant defects before placing a bid.
