An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More)

Target Earth, the 1954 Sherman A. Rose science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Raw Panic the screen never dared to reveal!"; "You'll be paralyzed with fear... By an incredible spectacle man has never seen before!") starring Richard Denning, Kathleen Crowley, Virginia Grey, Richard Reeves, Robert Roark (billed as "Featuring Robert Roark"), and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit AND as a robot!). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume!

Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43".

Condition: very good. The poster had three extra horizontal folds near the regular top fold. There was paper loss at the center crossfold and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold. There was some tiny paper loss in the left of the bottom foldline, and minor wear on the other folds. There were some creases and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not paint over a foreign distribution stamp in the bottom right corner in the image background (which is not in an important area, and not very distracting).
