An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style Z Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (measures 40" x 60") (Learn More) Mr. Belvedere Goes to College, the 1949 Elliot Nugent university family comedy sequel ("Get set to howl!"; "That 'Sitting Pretty' man is back again!"; "Mr. Lynn Belvedere - even funnier than he was in 'Sitting Pretty'"; "Based on a Character Created by Gwen Davenport"; from the popular series of movies about a man who is hired as a domestic servant and ends up running the entire family) starring Clifton Webb (in the title role as Mr. Belvedere), Shirley Temple, Tom Drake, Alan Young, Jessie Royce Landis, Kathleen Hughes, Taylor Holmes, Alvin Greenman, Paul Harvey, Barry Kelly, and Bob Patten. Note that the character of Mr. Belvedere was introduced in 1948's "Sitting Pretty". He proved to be very popular and this sequel was made the following year, followed by the final sequel two years later, called "Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. There are many creases and smudges throughout the poster. Somebody did quite a bit of amateur restoration to both the left and right borders, and there is much tape and repairs on the back of the poster. There are still many stains down the right side of the image and in the left corner of the poster. There is a tiny pinhole in Shirley Temple's nose. This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
