If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1939 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards from this movie until we received this one-sheet! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some extra folds, tiny tears, and separation on parts of some folds. Someone put some pieces of tape on the back of some separations in the folds, and some of it slightly bled through to the front. There was also some tape and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
