What IS paperbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The entire poster had darkened, more so along the foldlines. There were creases and tears on parts of some foldlines and there was tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and greater paper loss at others. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The restorer paperbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above.
