Objective, Burma!, the 1945 Raoul Walsh World War II (WWII) Southeast Asia military paratrooper action thriller ("From an Original Story by Alvah Bessie"; about a group of paratroopers who land in Japanese controlled Burma during World War II and need to destroy an installation, which they accomplish, but getting out of the country is far more difficult) starring Errol Flynn, William Prince, James Brown, George Tobias, Henry Hull, Warner Anderson, Anthony Caruso, and George Tyne

Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster was folded across the original center and there were some other light horizontal folds, as well as a vertical foldline. There were pinholes in the corners and creases, smudges, and some tears around the edges of the poster, including a 1 1/2" tear in the right border to the right of the bottom of the title, which was repaired with tape. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
