An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) The Irish in Us, the 1935 Lloyd Bacon New York City Irish-American boxing sports romantic love triangle comedy ("Reunion of the stars of 'Here Comes the Navy'"; about two brothers, one a policeman and one a boxer, and both are in love with the same lady) starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, Olivia de Havilland (in her second movie role!), Frank McHugh, Allen Jenkins, and Mary Gordon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this window card in the last 11 years, and that card was in MUCH lesser condition ("poor to fair"), and it sold for $255! Condition: good to very good. The card had four nail holes down the left blank border, with four in the right side of the image background areas. There was staining in the corners, slightly affecting the background. Someone many years ago performed restoration to the above defects without backing the card. It was pretty well done, but the restoration paint used in the borders likely matched the card when it was first done, but now it is far more noticeable. Since is is mostly in the borders, one might choose to display the card as it is, or certainly, additional restoration could be performed. Learn More about condition grades
