He is best remembered for his memorable roles in some classic Fritz Lang film noir movies and in some "adult" westerns, almost always playing a "bad guy". Some of his movies include: Woman in the Window, Scarlet Street, The Little Foxes, Winchester '73, and Ball of Fire. He passed away in 1968 at the age of 61. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Dan Duryea! Also note that this auction also includes the envelope this item originally came with! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good to fine.
