Seitz seafaring romantic melodrama ("Story by Norman Springer"; a really wild story of a cruel sea captain who has his daughter on each voyage; he treats the crew so badly that they leave the ship without collecting their pay!; he intends to marry his daughter to his evil first mate, but a young man who loves her signs on, as does a mysterious man, who turns out to be not only the former captain of the ship, who was framed by the current captain and spent 15 years in jail, but he is also the actual father of the girl, who was stolen from him by the cruel captain when she was a baby) starring Richard Cromwell, Noah Beery Sr., Sally Blane, Willard Robertson, Sidney Bracey, Richard Alexander, and Fred 'Snowflake' Toones.
