An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Background to Danger, the 1943 Raoul Walsh World War II (WWII) spy espionage crime thriller ("From a novel by Eric Ambler"; note that IMDB lists William Faulkner as an uncredited writer for this movie; about an American intelligence agent in Turkey during World War II, and his interactions with Nazi agents; made just after "Casablanca", and obviously designed to ride on that movie's coattails!) starring George Raft, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, Brenda Marshall, Osa Massen, Turhan Bey, Kurt Katch, Otto Reichow, William Yetter Sr., and Wilhelm von Brincken NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair. The card has slightly darkened. There is staining and scuffing in the faces of the stars, paper loss in the top left blank corner, and several pinholes around the edges. There is a tape repair on the back of a small tear in the top of the right blank border. There are remnants of a piece of paper tape on the back of the center of the top border, but it was not put there for any restoration purpose (it was partially removed and there is some surface paper loss in that area).
