An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Fighting Mustang, the 1948 Oliver Drake cowboy western ("Blazing six-guns seek revenge"; "Thundering action - at its peak!") starring Sunset Carson, Cactus, JR. (billed as "and his horse Cactus, JR"), Al Terry, Patricia Starling, Polly McKay, Wm. Val, Felice Richmond, Bob Curtis, Stephen Keyes, Joe Hiser, Forrest Matthews, Lee Roberts, Al Ferguson, Hugh Hooker, Tex Wilson, Don Gray, and Dale Harrison NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release! Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There was once a piece of tape on the back of the crossfold that falls in the middle of the "S" of "MUSTANG" in the title, and there was some tape staining in that area in addition to tiny paper loss. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
