Important Added Info: Note that this is a type of publicity photo that companies in the 1930s created and theaters would order them by the hundreds or thousands, and pass them out in place of heralds on the street, or they would give them as souvenirs to people after they watched the movie. They are printed on a paper that is not photo paper, and are somewhat glossy on both sides. The photo was made at the time of the first release of the movie. In the case of this one, not only does it have a great image of Shirley Temple on one side, but on the other side, where the theater printed information about the movie, they also added advertising for Popeye the Sailor meets Sinbad the Sailor, with a tiny cartoon image of Popeye next to it!
