An Original Vintage Pressbook (pb; measures 12 1/4" x 15" [31 x 38 cm]; 6 pages) (Learn More) the 1960 double-bill release of William Wyler's Roman Holiday, the 1953 William Wyler Rome Italy romantic royal-princess-falls-in-love-with-commoner comedy (nominated for the Best Director and Best Picture Academy Award; "Story by Ian McLellan Hunter") starring Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn (in her Best Actress Academy Award winning role), Eddie Albert (most famous from TV's "Green Acres"; in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), Hartley Power, and Harcourt Williams AND Sidney Kingsley's Detective Story, the 1951 William Wyler (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) New York City police crime melodrama ("from the great Broadway stage hit!"; "William Wyler's Production of Sidney Kingsley's Detective Story"; "the author of 'Dead End'"; "Based on the play by Sidney Kingsley"; about an incredibly hectic and eventful day in the life of a police detective) starring Kirk Douglas, Eleanor Parker (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), William Bendix, Cathy O'Donnell, and Lee Grant (in her nominated for Best Supporting Actress Academy Award role, who had been blacklisted, and went on to a long successful career).
