New York City is a walled maximum security prison. Breaking out is impossible. Breaking in is insane."; "Written by John Carpenter & Nick Castle"; about a future where Manhattan is a prison island and Kurt Russell has to rescue the President whose plane crashed on the island) starring Kurt Russell ("as 'Snake Plissken'"), Lee Van Cleef ("as the 'Police Commissioner'"), Ernest Borgnine ("as 'Cabbie'"), Donald Pleasence ("as 'The President'"), Isaac Hayes ("as 'The Duke of New York'"), Harry Dean Stanton ("as 'Brain'"), and Adrienne Barbeau ("as 'Maggie'") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Stan Watts Important Added Info: Note that this is an advance one-sheet (note the "ADVANCE 1 SHT." at the bottom of the poster). Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right. It has fine surface paper loss along portions of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this time period) and tiny pinholes in the corners with some slight discoloration in the upper blank corners (see our image). There is a tiny amount of faint pencil writing at lower right. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster would look great! Learn More about condition grades
