An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Movie Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 27 3/4" [50 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) La Fornarina, the 1943 Enrico Guazzoni Italian adventure melodrama starring Anneliese Uhlig, Lida Baarova, Walter Lazzaro, Loredana, and Luigi Pavese. Note that lead actress Lida Baarova was from Czechoslovakia, and she was the mistress of Joseph Goebbels. Goebbels wanted to divorce his wife to be with her, but Hitler ordered Goebbels to end the relationship, and she was banned from movies, after the war, she was put in jail for 18 months for having collaborated with the enemy. Artist: Rafael Angel Faillace Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster is brittle and there are some tack holes and small areas of paper loss around the edges and there is approximately 3" of separation at the crossfold at center. There are some smudges scattered throughout the poster (mostly at upper right). The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and if one chose to have it linenbacked it would look great!
