Zanuck"; about an orphan who becomes a doctor at the royal court, and he is witness to many romances and royal intrigue) starring Jean Simmons, Victor Mature, Gene Tierney, Michael Wilding, Bella Darvi, Peter Ustinov, Edmund Purdom (in the title role "as 'The Egyptian'"), Judith Evelyn, Henry Daniell, John Carradine, Carl Benton Reid, Tommy Rettig, and Anitra Stevens NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
