An Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Carroll Borland was an actress from the 1930s and 1980s. She is best remembered for her major role as Luna in Mark of the Vampire (she was a huge Bela Lugosi fan; she wrote a script for him and appeared in this movie with him!). Some of her other movies include: Biohazard, Scalps, and Flash Gordon. She passed away in 1994 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Carroll Borland! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good to very good. It appears that Miss Borland started to sign the still in a pen with very little ink, and she rewrote it (the original inscription has completely faded, but you can see part of it by tilting it to the light).
