An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Cowboy and the Kid, the 1936 Ray Taylor cowboy western starring Buck Jones, Billy Burrud (11 years old and in the title role as Jimmy Thomas, "The Kid"), Harry Worth, Charles Lemoyne, Dick Rush, Dorothy Revier, and Oliver Eckhardt. Note that it was not at all odd in the 1930s for tough cowboys to have young male "pals" that they "palled" around with (Tom Tyler had Frankie Darro, etc). This is the only movie that Buck Jones made with Billy Burrud, so either they didn't have chemistry together, or Burrud wanted more substantial roles! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are pinholes in the corners and one in the bottom of Jones' shirt. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
