An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Los Monstruos del Terror (released in English-speaking countries as "Assignment Terror", "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" and "Operation Terror"), the 1970 Tulio Demicheli & Hugo Fregonese Spanish/German/Italian monster horror science fiction (sci-fi) thriller starring Michael Rennie, Karin Dor, Patty Shepard, Helga Geissler, Craig Hill, Angel Del Pozo (as Dracula), Manuel De Blas, Paul Naschy (as the Wolfman), Gene Reyes (as the Mummy), and Ferdinando Murolo (as Frankenstein). Note that in the early 1970s, there were three films that used the English title of "Dracula vs. Frankenstein". The most well-known of these is the 1971 Al Adamson film starring Lon Chaney Jr. (which was not released under other English-language titles on it's first release). However, there was also this 1970 film (released as both Assignment Terror and Dracula Vs. Frankenstein), and a 1972 film (Dracula contra Frankenstein) directed by Jesus Franco. All three movies have been confused with each other, which is especially easy to do, because some of the posters for these movies lack cast or crew credits! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie has one of the wackiest plots I have ever read (I have never seen the movie, which may or may not be lucky!). The movie is about aliens from a dying world who bring two dead scientists back to life and then use their knowledge to re-animate classic Earth monsters including Frankenstein, The Mummy, Dracula, and the Werewolf! The Argentinean poster designer for this movie had no shame, and basically called the movie "Dracula vs Frankenstein", with a tiny "Operation Terror" below it, and included an image of Christopher Lee and Karloff and Lugosi, even though these monsters were played by entirely different actors! It IS an incredibly misleading poster, but it has a cool image! This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43". Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and the most minor of fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Learn More about condition grades
