An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Dark Eyes of London (released in the U.S. as "The Human Monster"), the 1939 Walter Summers English crime horror mystery thriller ("Paralyzing Fear!"; "King of all Brutes!"; "The Thriller of Thrillers"; "Based on 'Dark Eyes of London' by Edgar Wallace") starring Bela Lugosi (as Dr. Feodor Orloff), Hugh Williams, Greta Gynt, Edmon Ryan, and Wilfred Walter (as "Jake", the horribly disfigured henchman) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There was much tape on the back of each corner, and it bled through to the front. There was also tape on the back of the right half of the bottom foldline, and that too bled through the front. There are a few small conservation tape repairs on the back of the poster. Most of the tape bleed through described above is very noticeable in the blank borders, but not nearly as noticeable within the image, and of course, if this poster is linenbacked by a talented professional, none of it will be noticeable at all, and most the restoration will be in the borders.
