Il Sole di Montecassino (released in the U.S. in 1949 as "Miracle of Monte Cassino" and released in other English-speaking countries as "Fear No Evil"), the 1945 Giuseppe Maria Scotese Italian World War II (WWII) religious historical melodrama (about the life of Saint Benedict, the bulk of the film takes place in ancient times but the film begins with the destruction of the monastery of Monte Cassino during WWII) starring Fosco Giachetti (as Saint Benedict), Adriana Benetti, Liliana Laine, Nino Pavese, and Alfredo Varelli
