An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) James Oliver Curwood's Yukon Gold, the 1952 Frank McDonald & William Beaudine cowboy western (based on the James Oliver Curwood novel "Gold Hunters") starring Kirby Grant, Martha Hyer, Harry Lauter, Philip Van Zandt, and Chinook "The Wonder Dog". Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! Condition: very good. approximately 1/4" of paper loss at the middle and bottom crossfolds as well as some minor separation and tiny tears along the foldlines (some repaired with tape from the back); 3" tear (repaired with tape from the back) and two areas of paper loss in the lower left corner of the poster (see the image at right) as well as some tape stains, tiny tears, and tack holes around the edges of the poster; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges) Learn More about condition grades
