Following 'King Solomon's Mines' and 'Kim' MGM brings you its NEW spectacular drama!"; "Story by Talbot Jennings and Frank Cavett") starring Clark Gable, Ricardo Montalban ("as Ironshirt. Implacable foe of the white man!"), John Hodiak ("as Brecan, Gable's friend and rival!"), James Whitmore ("as Old Bill Morgan... his knife as sharp as his roving eye!"), Adolphe Menjou ("as Pierre... he pays a debt... and saves a life!"), J. Carrol Naish ("as Chief Looking Glass... he trades a bride for a suit of armor!"), Jack Holt ("as Bear Ghost... he paid the price of vengeance!"), Maria Elena Marques (billed as "and introducing as Maria Elena Marques"; "as Kamiah... Fire in her black eyes... Love in her heart for the rugged white trapper!"), and Howard Keel (as the narrator). Note that James Whitmore is listed as "uncredited" on IMDB, and he is missing from most U.S. advertising. Perhaps he was added as a result of his work on films such as Battleground & The Next Voice You Hear, or perhaps most of his scenes were removed from the film, and posters were created which did not credit him. Note that these stills are slightly "bowed" (they don't lay completely flat). This is common with original vintage stills. The stills could be easily flattened out over time by storing them under weight. Each also has minor creases in the blank borders. Otherwise, these stills are overall in very good to fine condition.
