Samuelson English silent Africa lost civilization romantic fantasy adventure thriller ("Sir Rider Haggard's own screen version of 'She'") starring Betty Blythe (in the title role as Ayesha), Carlyle Blackwell Sr., Mary Odette, Tom Reynolds, Heinrich George, and Jerrold Robertshaw. Note that there were five silent movie adaptations of this novel prior to this one, and in 1935, it was remade by RKO starring Helen Gahagan, and again in 1965 with Ursula Andress in the lead role! Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is paper loss in two blank corners, with stains, smudges, pinholes, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss around the edges, but fortunately, very few of those defects affect the image area. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Since the bulk of the defects are in the blank borders, the card can certainly be framed and displayed as it is, or one could choose to have restoration performed, and it would require very little restoration anywhere in the image. Either way, the new owner of this card will have an incredibly rare card to display on their wall!
