Date Sold 11/24/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 100 folded international Spanish one-sheets from Hello, Dolly, the 1970 Gene Kelly romantic musical comedy ("America's #1 entertainer in America's #1 musical!"; "Based on 'The Matchmaker' by Thornton Wilder"; "Based on the stage play 'Hello Dolly'"; "Music & Lyrics by Jerry Herman"; "In Ernest Lehman's production of 'Hello, Dolly!'"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Barbra Streisand (in the title role as Dolly), Walter Matthau, Michael Crawford, Louis Armstrong, Marianne McAndrew, Tommy Tune, Fritz Feld, Pat O'Malley, Eddie Quillan, Scatman Crothers, William 'Billy' Benedict, and Danny Lockin. The posters were originally tri-folded only. They were lightly folded over in groups, so there is really not a vertical fold, but it means that they can be all sent in a standard size box, which is far less expensive than sending them in an oversized flat package. IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! THIS IS ALL OF THE REMAINING EXAMPLES OF THIS POSTER WE WERE CONSIGNED, SO THE BUYER OF THIS LOT WILL "CONTROL" THE SUPPLY OF THEM! Condition: very good to fine. The posters were originally tri-folded only and have the most minor of wear from having been stored for the last 55 years.
