Two in a Crowd, the 1936 Alfred E. Green horse racing sports gambling romantic comedy ("Story by Lewis R. Foster"; a cute comedy about two total strangers who come upon two halves of a $1,000 bill, and they argue over how to split the money, because both happen to have a pressing need for $1,000 exactly; he wants it to enter his horse in a championship race; it turns out the money was stolen by a gangster, so the police and the gangsters get involved too, but everything ends up happily when they fall in love, and the horse wins the race, and they don't need the money after all) starring Joan Bennett, Joel McCrea, Henry Armetta, Alison Skipworth, Nat Pendleton, Reginald Denny, Billy Burrud, Any Clyde, and Elisha Cook Jr.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different style half-sheet, a lobby card, two stills, and a glass slide (and NO other movie paper) from this movie until we received this half-sheet! Also note that while this poster could conceivably be rolled, it is very old, and it would not make sense to roll it, as rolling it would have a good chance of damaging it. Therefore we will send it in a very large flat package, unless the new owner insists on us rolling it and will accept responsibility for the chance of damage. Please bear that extra shipping cost in mind BEFORE placing a bid on this poster! The poster is not fragile, but we strongly advise against trying to roll it, because it would be such a shame to damage it when the image area has survived so long in pretty nice condition.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has tiny pairs of staple holes around the edges, with a few smudges around the edges and in the yellow background areas, and a few tiny staple holes scattered in the image. It had a 7" semi-circular tear in the center of the bottom border that was carefully taped from the reverse and there are also tiny pieces of tape on the back of a few tiny tears in the borders. Otherwise, the poster's colors are bright and fresh, and it has never been folded, and displays well as it is, although I can imagine some people choosing to have restoration performed.
