Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The College Widow, the 1927 Archie Mayo silent romantic college football sports comedy ("From the play by George Ade"; the well-used plot of the widow who lives near the college and who all of the college football players pursue) starring Dolores Costello, William Collier Jr., Douglas Gerrard, Anders Randolfe, and Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this scene shows Dolores Costello apparently romancing the entire college football team!
Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent movie prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: good to very good. There are brown water stains down the left 1" of the card. There are minor smudges in the other borders.
