At that time, Coca-Cola's two main ingredients were cocaine and caffeine, and it was initially marketed as a tonic that could cure morphine addiction, dyspepsia, neurasthenia, headache, and impotence. Today, Coca-Cola is a world-wide corporation and the soft drink (and many other beverages under the Coca-Cola brand name) can be found in every corner of the globe. Important Added Info: Note that in addition to this incomplete Coca-Cola billboard poster, we are also separately auctioning a complete one that has a different image (this incomplete one has a complete Coke logo section, which is why we are auctioning it). This auction is for the incomplete Coca-Cola billboard poster. Also note that this billboard poster was originally printed in 15 sections designed to overlap, but only 11 of the sections are present. The four missing sections include significant portions of the image, so there would be no way to recreate them. But the logo section of the poster measures 42 1/2" x 59 3/4", and certainly, the buyer could display that piece by itself (either as it is, or backed, perhaps trimming away part of the white borders). In any case, DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT ONLY 11 OF THE 15 SECTIONS ARE PRESENT. Also note this poster was folded in a way that makes it resemble a tri-folded six-sheet (only much larger, of course, as there are more sections). But the length and width of the folded poster is just about the same as that of a tri-folded six-sheet or three-sheet. This means that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 13" x 33", and approximately 2" high, and it will cost more to send than a regular sized package.
