An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Woman with Four Faces (The Woman with 4 Faces), the 1923 Herbert Brenon silent master female criminal romantic melodrama (a really complicated and very clever story of a woman who is not only a master thief, but also a master of disguise, so she has never been arrested; a detective is on her trail and he catches her, and offers to go easy on her if she will help him re-steal something that was stolen and is in a safe that can't be opened; she can't open the safe herself, so she gets the world's greatest safe cracker to do it for her; at the end, when everything has been resolved, she expects to be given a suspended sentence, but instead, she is sentenced to life, but it is life with the detective, whom she has fallen in love with, and will now marry) starring Betty Compson, Richard Dix, George Fawcett, Theodore von Eltz, and Joseph Kilgour. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
