Lucky Ghost, the 1942 William X. Crowley black African American gambling horror comedy thriller ("You Can Bet Your Bottom Dollar It's Thrilling - Exciting - Funny!"; "Thrills! Chills! A Thriller-Diller laff sensation!"; "With an All Star Colored Cast!") starring Mantan Moreland, F.E. Miller (Flourney E. Miller), Florence O'Brien, Monty Hawley, and Maceo Bruce Scheffield. Note that Flourney Miller was a major figure in black Broadway musical history, performing and writing with his partner Aubrey Lyles. After Lyles passed away in 1933, Miller appeared in a number of all-black movies in the 1930s and 1940s.

Important Added Info: Note that Toddy Pictures acquired the rights to this 1941 Dixie Nat'l Film Exchange movie, and re-released it in 1948. Because the Toddy Pictures posters are not marked as being a re-issue in any way, they are often mistakenly sold as originals, but they are in fact from the 1948 re-release!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had creases above and below the left half of the bottom fold, with just a few tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
