Country of Freedom"), the 1952 French anti-communism poster (with a tagline that translates to "Peace and Freedom") warning people of the dangers of the Soviet Union, and featuring art of several people in a jail cell with a hammer and sickle lock. This poster was likely in response to the growing strength of the French Communist Party in France following World War II (WWII) Artist: J.D. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has separation at the middle crossfold and tiny paper loss at each crossfold. It had tears in the bottom right corner and someone put tape on the back of that area, and also some tape on the back of parts of some folds, where there was separation.
