Seiter New York City Broadway theater stage acting romantic comedy ("From the play by Frederic & Fanny Hatton"; about America's leading playwright, who goes to his home town in Virginia and proposes to his girl, but she only agrees to marry him if she can star in his next play, and after she does, and the play flops, the playwright tells her she wasn't sophisticated enough, which makes her decide to stay in New York by herself; she rents an apartment next to gangsters and almost gets herself and her husband killed, but everything works out in the end) starring Colleen Moore, Antonio Moreno, Edythe Chapman, Kathryn McGuire, and Gertrude Howard NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this cool scale from 1929 has a sign on it that reads "TO WEIGH CHILDREN Adult stand on platform and then stand off. Place child on platform. Drop coin. Capacity 25-300 pounds"! Condition: very good. The still was removed from an album page, leaving black paper remnants on the back of the left half of the still, which has caused the upper left to become slightly rippled (it is more "felt" than seen), but the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
