Under My Skin, the 1950 Jean Negulesco Italy France horse racing gambling sports crime thriller ("Told with that Hemingway wallop!"; "That Garfield SOCK!"; "That French woman's Touch!"; "Told with that Ernest Hemingway wallop!"; "Based on a story by Ernest Hemingway, My Old Man"; about an American jockey living in Italy with his adoring son; he owes money to a gambler that he can't pay and he flees to France where he ends up with a champion horse, but then the gambler shows up and demands he throw the big race or be killed, and the jockey must decide if he is willing to die to avoid having his son learn the truth about his dishonest past) starring John Garfield, Micheline Presle (billed as "Micheline Prelle"), Luther Adler, Orley Lindgren, and Noel Drayton
