An Original Vintage Linenbacked Italian Stage Play Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 30 3/4" [59 x 78 cm]) (Learn More) Dancers, the 1977 Italian poster promoting the dancing theater stage show held at the Roundabout Theatre in New York from November 17 to December 11, and featuring neat art by Jean-Michel Folon! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Jean-Michel Folon Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It once had tape on the back of the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame. At some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now some creases and a small tear in the right border (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
